I already updated that I took him out of daycare because the ENT found that he has a chronic sinus infection (probably due to constant exposure to allergens - the cats-)
He was on a 3 week course of antibiotics in the hopes it will take care of it.
Well, it didn't. We just got back from the ENT and he will be having surgery to get the sinuses drained. The ENT said, since he is so young, he will likely need more sinus surgery as his other sinuses grow in.
He also developed some weird pockets on the back of his tongue... completely symmetrical, one on the right and one on the left. The Pediatrician thought they were very odd and assumed they are mucus pockets that usually only are removed if they grow to be uncomfortable, but she asked me to have the ENT double check on them.
The ENT was just as surprised and found them odd. While Luke is under anyway, he will remove them and biopsy them.
I know it's probably nothing but I can't help but freak out a little.
We will get a date for surgery in the next few days.

Poor Luke, hope the surgery helps him feel better in the long run. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts & prayers.
