Is anyone watching this?
Let's talk about theories. Are the prison doctor and Lucy aging? Did they travel back in time? It's pretty clear that Hauser knows more than he's letting on but what doesn't he know?
I love Jorge Garcia in this.
Re: Alcatraz 1-23
Can someone tell me what happened in the first 20 minutes? Our DVR didn't record it.
I LOVE Jorge Garcia and I really like the complexity of the story.
Blog!
I love it, but I'm going to be annoyed if it turns out to be some sort of alien kidnapping thing.
Maybe it was government experimental medical testing? Maybe the current characters have time traveled back to the prison? Where are all these bodies hiding as people come back to life? I like the show, but I want to know the secret! :-)
*******spoiler?*******
i really wanted to know what dr. bernard was going to do with that dead prisoner's body.
i will have to say though, that i actually do not like jorge garcia. i mean, i'm sure he's a nice person, but i don't think he's a very strong actor.
eta: just adding that i have never seen jorge garcia in anything else, so maybe last night's episode was a fluke. i like the character, but i just think JG just seems to try too hard, especially in scenes where he has to be angry.
Already addicted to this show! The curiosity is definitely getting the best of me, and I'm bummed because I know they're going to drag it out for a while as to what is causing the prisoners to come back and not to be aged at all.
Not a fan of the Rebecca character at all.. but I do love Doc! :0)

Not sure if I have to put spoilers since these were all shown in previous episodes or the 1/23 episode?
Lucy was shown as her current age back in the 60s as a nurse or something for the Alcatraz inmates. Houser was shown as the younger guard that discovered the place was empty just after all the inmates disappeared. I think they showed both those in the 2nd episode.
I'm not a fan of Rebecca's actress either - DH is almost ready to stop watching because of her.
I do enjoy the plot. At first I thought they would not show the guy who was on the other side of the medical screen always having blood taken from him and always giving advice to other inmates. Glad they showed it's Rebecca's grandfather.
Good catch on the line about the Dr. likely bringing people back to life. Wonder if it's true.
he said his prison number in the first episode and then she repeated the number later when she saw his photo. Years of watching lost has me trained to pay attention anytime they say a number out loud.
I really think the prison doc looks like he's aged from the old alcatraz shots, but it could just be glasses v no glasses. I missed the second episode somehow the dvr didn't get it.
