Good Morning, Ladies!! I hope all of you are having a great morning and have a wonderful rest of the day!
I'm stopping by a local baby boutique tonight, it just opened last week and I am pretty excited to check it out (especially since I have some wonderful excuses to shop there! lol). Otherwise, my day looks to be pretty standard!
Anyone have anything exciting going on today?

Just running out the door to work. I probably won't be able to get on the Nest all day again. Like some others, I can read posts on my phone but not write any, which is irritating.

Happy Thursday! Today is just another work day for me. I've got to get this one drawing released this week, and have been working it through the system. We'll see what progress I can make today. It's been a 4 month on going process.
Tomorrow is our home inspection! Yay! I'm looking forward to seeing the house again. I'll keep everyone updated on how it goes tomorrow afternoon.

Audra- i hope the inspection goes well! when we bought our house we found a few things that needed to be replaced (furnace, electrical box) but we were able to renegotiate the price so it worked out.
I think that's a good plan. We're going to need it!
It's Thursday! Which means it's almost Friday, yay!
I'm working until 5 and then going home to clean the kitchen and and I need to steam the floors. I got a lot of cleaning done yesterday. Jason said we can go eat a Nino's tonight, one of my favorite Italian restaurants.
Saturday we're going to look for a new kitty baby!

I'm leaving work a little early for a doctor appointment. I'm switching from my old doc (where my parents live) to DH's doc whose office is much closer to where I work and live. I have to get a physical and everything since I'm a new patient. When I get home I'm going to make shrimp pasta and prep for our refinance closing! Yay!
Awww, I'm so jealous! DH and I really want a pet, but we rent and move frequently and landlords are finicky about furbabies. So that just means that you have to share pictures when you get your new kitty so I can ooooh and aaah over your furbaby
It's more or less an ordinary Thursday for me as well. I have to give a seminar presentation this afternoon, but I'm not too nervous. Mostly, I'm looking forward to dinner tonight (philly cheesesteak, recipe courtesy of Stoked!) and the weekend

Thanks! So far it doesn't look too bad. The night before last was pretty terrible. I thought the lightning & thunder were striking in my backyard...the entire house shook and I got absolutely no sleep (hence why I came into work 2 hours late yesterday lol)...and I found out that our laundry room floor gets wet when it rains hard enough. If it looks like it'll get worse before I head home, I might leave work early.

AF showed up this morning.... yay ::eyeroll:: which totally explains my random crankiness last night! I hate that. Other than that, things are going well, I'm working through a lot of exciting projects today for freelance and for regular work.

YAY! That's so exciting Heather - I'm happy for you guys. We'd love to get another one but it's not practical since we travel. Kitty currently travels with us when we go places and I think travelling with two kitties wouldn't be so good. LOL. You'll have to keep us updated

I totally just had McDonald's breakfast, but their burritos had a really weird after taste, so Buddy enjoyed half of one and now he's curled up sleeping. lol I'm enjoying my decaf coffee though, man I miss coffee!!
I have got to get some homework done, I am really slacking. I did already do laundry though, but now my motivation is completely gone.

Yay, almost Friday! I'm excited for the weekend because I get to see H for the first time in almost 4 weeks! I hope I have enough work to do today so the day goes quickly. After work I'll be doing a little cleaning so it looks presentable when H gets home.
It's on Pelham Parkway. Eli Gold co-owns it with a guy named Nino, hah. It's so good!
I'm sorry you can't have a furbaby yet!
I'll post pictures on Monday if we get one on Saturday. There is a cat show here on Saturday and several of the rescues are going to be there with their cats for adoption. I'm dying laughing at the thought of my H at a cat show, it will be an experience for sure! And the show is at a temple, which is strange.
That's so exciting!! I love kitties, but DH won't let me get another one, haha. We have two, so that's enough!

It's Thursday which means I have grad class. I just got done a "walk-through" with many administrators and superintendent/asst. superintendent of the district. Very stressful! But now it's over!
Normal day for me, and then I have detention coverage tonight before class :-( I have eleven students for detention, boo! After that, I'm headed to the post office, and then grad class. And then... FRIDAY!!

How exciting! There's nothing like bringing home a new furbaby and making him or her part of your family. I hope you guys find one that's perfect!
Vintage - That stinks that you're not able to have a pet right now (I agree, landlords can be very particular about pets and charge outrageous pet deposits). The good news is that you have something wonderful to look forward to for someday when you own your own house!
My day today is pretty unspectacular. I'm dealing with a lot of stress at work, which has caused me to worry about things that I'm not used to worrying about. I love getting to pop onto TN throughout the day to check out the board, because it really helps relieve some of that stress. Juneville is such a happy place! I don't have any plans for tonight, other than to get work done so I can enjoy my busy weekend.

I totally feel like today should be Friday. What a long week! I am looking forward to Yoga tonight though.
I have no meetings today at work and I am not motivated to work on much else so I will be trying to entertain myself to get through today.
I had a chiropractor appointment after work today, which helped so much! H and I had a quick sandwich dinner, since he had to work tonight. Just hoping he stays safe- it's supposed to storm here tonight, though hopefully not as bad as the ones Kim described! Not a fan of thunder/lightning since my house caught on fire in 4th grade... Especially since I'm here alone tonight.
I have to teach 2 flute lessons this evening, and pay some bills.
Ugh. I feel the exact opposite. Every day was super long. The weather was kinda dragging all week today. It was overcast with showers each day this week. Hopefully, we will see some better weather this weekend.
