There's an opossum in my flower box
Tehe. That sounds kind of dirty.
But no, really. Man, those things are creepy looking.
Re: There's an opossum in my flower box
Ah!! They are freaky little creatures.
They are completely creepy! We had one in our neighborhood earlier in the year that used to send my dog over the edge. I am not sure if someone finally called animal control, or if something bigger finally got to it, but one day it was just gone. Thankfully.
I used to feed a little one. I felt bad. It was out in the day time and tiny.
A few years ago, a(n) opossum used to come on my mom's porch and eat cat food. My dad took a picture of it, and framed it. My mom kept kids at this time, and she had about 4 2-4 year olds. They took the framed picture, made up a song, and had a parade around the dining room table. My mom led the parade and waved the picture up and down. I was forced to watch this one day while visiting.
It was like Mardi Gras at the nuthouse. True story.
That's what I read on the internet.
Whatthefuck?
This was my thought as well...
My parents are not normal. At all. They are sweet and wonderful, and I love them, but they're a tad screwy.
Per Billy the Exterminator they carry all kinds of diseases....stay away!

Oh, I'm not planning to make friends with it!
I was just doing a bit of reading, and apparently, rabies is actually fairly rare in opossums. It's also not uncommon to see the in the daytime more often in the winter because food is more scarce and they may need to be out to find food.
Anyhow, for now I'll just hope it will go away soon and not take up residence!

Yeah, it was some other diseases that you don't really see anymore. He gets quite dramatic about it.
Yes, it's a redneck show on A&E, but it cracks me up. Who wears chains and such to go exterminate?

I love this show. Why does he always have to bring his brother along when they're dealing with bees? He's allergic!
Ive often wondered that.
