1) How do you plan to spend the extra day? I will be in freakin' Disney World!!! I believe they are keeping the park open for the whole 24 hours of Feb 29! It's going to be epic.

2) Do you know anyone born on February 29? nope, but DD was almost born on Feb. 29, 2008, but luckily she didn't come for another few days (much to my happiness, though my SIL & DH both wanted a leap year baby)
I'm posting all the suggested threads that Erin wanted to help time go by faster.
Plus, I had a 2 hour movie to watch for school so I wanted something else to do during that 2 hours...
I really don't want a leap year baby.

No, I haven't. I figured what the heck. Should be a fun event to do. and is changes up my week day running schedule too.

1. It's just another day. I'm sure I'll be working.
2. My parents had a friend that was born on the 29th. Growing up it used to baffle me when this man who was my parents age would tell me that he had only had 10 birthdays.
1) How do you plan to spend the extra day?
Spreading Leap Year Day Awareness on the radio and in 3rd grade classrooms of my local elementary schools talking about what it's like to be born on Leap Day!
2) Do you know anyone born on February 29?
Yes! MEEEEE! Plus about 10,000 others! I have an international birthday club for people born on February 29 - The Honor Society of Leap Year Day Babies at leapyearday.com. It's great fun.
We're not only a birthday club but we promote Leap Year Day Awareness by providing the media with a story of interest; teachers with help teaching their students; parents of Leap Day babies with an understanding of their child's Leapness; and fellow Leap Day babies with a people who can relate to what it's like being a Leap Day baby.
I will be 13 next month, again. The thing is, the first time I turned 13 it wasn't on the calendar. This time I turn 13 with it on the calendar - WAHOO! And, the first time I turned 13 I was entering puberty; this time I'm turning 13 and exiting puberty! Again, WAHOO! lol
For those of you who have never "met one" ;0) HELLO! lol Nice to meet you in cyberspace!
To those of you who think being born on Leap Day sucks, IT DOESN'T :0) It's quite cool actually. When we're a kid it's confusing, and often the parents make it worse by not understanding Leap Day themselves. But these new generations of Leap Day babies don't have to experience that. We want to make sure they don't. There's no need for it.
I could take up this whole site talking about this, but I have my own site for that. If you'd like to know more about YOUR extra day check it out. It's a fun, easy to read and navigate site. Go surfing there and have fun. But wait till you're done here on this site first ;0)
