I offered to host a couple's shower for my cousin and her FI. She mentioned she would like to have a "garage" shower. She's letting me do the planning but I've never heard of a garage theme couple's shower before. Has anyone done this before? What was your menu?

Re: Couples Shower?
Does she mean a tool shower? I've seen it done where it's tools for the guy and gardening stuff for the bride, or if she doesn't, then kitchen hardware for her, like mixers and such.
Here and here are some cute invites.
As for the menu, since I've never been to a theme party IRL, the tool & garden shower I went to was like all of our parties here: great food, great flowers, great alcohol
It was a normal menu of party foods: veggie tray, spinach dip, a couple hot apps, etc.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
I think she does mean a garden shower.
Thanks for the invites! They are super cute!
Does this mean they're registering at Lowe's or Home Depot?
I don't think the theme needs to dictate the menu, by any means. Maybe just the dessert for fun - since it can double as decor.... how about a "dirt cake" like one of these
