Hello and Happy New Year to everyone on the HV Nest! I am a member of the HV bump board and someone suggested I post here as well because alot of moms are on this board too.
My husband and I live in Poughkeepsie, NY and are expecting our first baby at the end of Feb. I have been using the bump to get information on all the many questions that come up about pregnancy, labor, delivery and parenting. Between working full time and finishing my masters full time I don't have much spare time, but when I do I try to check out whats happening on my local bump board.
I was hoping some of you might have recommendations for be about pediatricians in the Poughkeepsie area. My husband and I are not originally from around here and I don't have any friends in this area with children that could offer recommendations. I need to choose a pediatrician soon and would welcome any recommendations you parents on this board have!

I live across the river in Ulster, but just a few minutes away from POK... I work in POK too.
we use Childrens Med. Group - our main branch is in Modena, but use the Pok office when we need a night/wknd appointment.

Thank you to everyone for your welcome's and recommendations! For those that suggested I call CMG, I am sorry to say the experience I had with them over the phone today was not a very good one. I was told they offer evening and weekend appointments for parents that work but they could not schedule me for a prenatal visit with them because of that reason (even though I work FT and an evening appointment is what I need).
So I won't be choosing them as my pediatrician.....I hope no one else has the same experience I did with them.
