going to a conference soon and part of it will include a road-trip (from the airport to the conference, lol, but it's a long drive) with my 3 female classmates, yay! I thought I'd make a CD just for fun, trying to think of some more songs to add...

And so many more. I am a music freak!
Temper trap has awesome songs and they always get me going! I especially like "Fader" and "Sweet Disposition" are two of my favorites. Oh and "Love Lost" as well...
"Life is a Highway" by Tom Petty is a classic RT song as well!
I second Life is a Highway! Chris Ledoux has a great version of it too if you are into country at all.

When the hubs and I are on the road together any musical soundtrack (sound of music, mama mia, grease to name a few favorites) are always a must because we like to belt them out together.
But other stand bys are black eyed peas toby keith, taylor swift are frequently played as well....
I think we may be one of a kind though...haha
Song I am absolutely loving is Avicii, Get a Good Feeling. I also love this version by Flo Rida as well.
Road trip songs, I usually go old rock like Boston or Bon Jovi. The Scorpions. I don't know why, but I always enjoy rock ballads when driving a long trip, lol! Or sometimes I have recently boughten an album and just listened to it over and over again, if it's good, during the whole road trip.
Right now I'm obsessed with the new Black Keys CD. It'd be great for a road trip!
Road trips: I love old stuff - Boston, Eagles, the names of the bands escape me but all the stuff my dad would play on road trips. H loves angry rock (think, Tool, Rage Against the Machine, etc) and Mumford and Sons, I like country. Our road trip soundtracks depend on where we're going though. For skiing, every year we make a get psyched mix (a la Barney/the How I Met Your Mother new years episode) and for camping/fishing trips we play a lot of country.
