How you doing? Saw your update.  A week!  That's definitely a milestone.  By now I'm sure you have your favorite (and least favorite!) doctors and nurses and know the menu by heart :)

I have a random question for you.  Are you still facing a pretty certain c-section?  If they know that - why do they wait for labor?  Like, if you go into hard labor do they want that?  I am so clueless.

Re: **TeacherTiff**

  • lol, you've got that right! i can recite the menu, phone number, etc, :)

all things considered, i'm doing fine. i'm sure you remember tne normal complaints- aches and pains from being stuck in bed. i miss nolan a ton but he's dan's little buddy now so it's good for him. i think the most frustrating part is not knowing what's going to happen. 2/3 of my drs say i'm staying here til delivery b/c of A being breech and how much i'm dilated/effaced. the other dr, who is my otiginal dr but is the only one i haven't seen b/c he just came back from surgery) apparently feels like i can go home. so i'm torn as far as who to trust and what to think if he makes that call. the other 2 drs don't think it will come to that b/c they are expecting labor/water breakage first... but in any case it is frustrating.

which brings me to your question. i have no idea! i guess i'm too far to send home but not far enough to get the ball rolling. it's a definite c/s based on their positions. they think that sending me home at 3m/70%+ (havent been rechecked) is too risky since A's cord could prolapse if my water breaks... but they don't wnt to deliverearly if they can avoid it. sooooo here i wait- a "ticking time bomb" thry're calling me. hope that answers your question... unfortunately i don't know much more than you!

i've heard of 2 other twin mommas here--- one delivered at 35.1 (no nicu!) and they're home already and the other was discharged today- about a week behind me- b/c her complications subsided. so now i'm allllll alone, lol.

  • sorry for the formatting... it won't let me edit once i move to the next paragraph, ugh.
