(What's For Breakfast? and What Are You Doing?, swiped from the What's Cooking board.)
I picked up an Egg McMuffin and a smoothie after dropping DD off at school.
Now I'm in the living room watching TV and listening for sounds of distress from upstairs. DH came down with a stomach flu overnight and he's in terrible shape, the poor guy. I think he's finally getting some rest (hopefully). I want to help him, but I also want to stay far away for fear of catching what he has. I canNOT deal with a stomach flu right now.
I have a crapton of laundry to do today, but otherwise, I'm just sitting with my feet up. I'm on modified bedrest 'til Monday and I'm not anywhere near 100%, so I'm still pretty useless.
Re: WFB & WAYD?
I had two slices of whole wheat toast with pumpkin butter, and a blueberry yogurt.
I am researching vehicles.
I had a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast and some coffee.
And right now I'm at "work," but I really playing on the nest and looking at prom dresses for the daughter of a poster on the PCE board. And discussing minivans here.
I toast, bacon and coffee this morning.
I should be reading some home studies so I can match one of my kids with an adoptive family but I'm procrastinating as usual. I just keep finding other things more interesting.
I had coffee, peanut butter and banana.
I'm at work cursing the idiots I work with! Oh and looking for another job...
I had PB&J on whole wheat, and coffee.
I'm working from home today, right now I'm procrastinating but in a few minutes I'll be analyzing & writing a position on a bill.
I had a Green Monster smoothie (thank you Pinterest!). It was so good and it has kept me full since 8:00.
I just put B down for a nap and I'm about to workout. Then we're on a hunt for a 2012 calendar since I can't find one anywhere! B&N had none!
Someone's getting a little brother!
I had two pieces of toast - one with jam & butter and the other with almond butter
I am trying to do some work before I leave early. We were at the emergency vet's really late last night. At 3am we got the call that it was not a ruptured spleen, but cancer that had spread throughout her body. We went in and said our goodbyes and I stayed with they euthanized her. She was already under anesthetic, so she didn't know we were there. I had already made my peace with her before we took her to the emergency vet.
Breakfast - blueberry whole wheat waffles and coffee
When I opened this to post, I was avoiding looking at the 25 emails I'd gotten since last night and worried that I was going to get in trouble for procrastinating.
But, then my employee came in to talk to me about another employee that she's having issues with. .... fun times!!
Have you tried Staples or Office Depot?
I am so sorry. Losing a pet is never easy. ::hugs::
Someone's getting a little brother!
Greek yogurt with fresh kiwi and mango. Yum!
I'm currently taking a break at work even though I have only been here since 9. It's been a really crappy morning
Madlady: I'm so sorry!
I just had oatmeal...way too late.
I'm working on meeting materials.
A biscuit and a brownie--healthy breakfast for this girl!
Working and Nesting
I'm at work. I'm currently proofing PDFs of magazine pages for the March issue, but I'm obviously a little ADD while doing it as I can't seem to concentrate. I'm also listening to This American Life on my phone at the same time. Multitasker extraordinaire right here.

I had coffee and a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese for breakfast.
I am working and trying to stop myself from thinking of more stuff I want to buy. Already this month we've bought car seats, baby gates, clothes and shoes for DS, plus I bought a bunch of decorative stuff for the house and we're considering buying some ottomans and now I think we need another baby gate. And that makes me want to cry because they're expensive. And then I remember that I should think of some better way to store our shoes so that DS won't eat them. Ugh.

Madladybride - I am so, so sorry.
Losing a pet is never easy.
Bagel for breakfast... and maybe followed up w/ a nutella blondie in a bit? We'll see how long I can resist them.
I'm busy trying to figure out ways to evict this kid and figuring out what I want to throw together for dinner tonight. I think DS and I will go walk the mall while DH is at whichever committee meeting he has tonight in hopes of continuing to encourage Thing 2 to show his/her face.
... every single day of forever.
Thanks, everyone! She was like my first child. I always joked that L was my daughter, but Penelope (my dog) was my baby girl. She was 11. When I met DH (11 years ago in October), I told him I had a large dog and we were a package deal. He even used to say that I loved her more than I loved him. Sometimes that was the case
Madlady: I'm so, so sorry. There's nothing harder than losing a pet.
As for me, 6" eggwhite flatbread from Subway...and now trying to work my way through the maze of what I'm doing to this company's org chart before diving back into their stock purchase agreement. Blech.

I had french toast coffee (new keurig favor) and a blueberry bagel.
I'll be working all day. Can't wait until 4p.m.
M- I'm sorry to hear about your dog.
How is Subway's breakfast?
I'm so sorry for your loss. Dogs are definitely like children, I think even more so when you get a dog before you have a child. Hugs...
Actually pretty good!! When I go I get the 6" flatbread with eggwhite and cheese with chipotle southwest sauce, lettuce and tomato (it's pick your own toppings like the regular subs) and for what you get it's crazy cheap - like $2.65 or something.
