Any one have luck using CDs past a year? We haven't had any problems until this week. Two nights Abe has woke up and is saturated all the way through to the mattress pad.
Re: Using CDs past one year
No hemp liner held in per overnight. I tried a few. DD sleeps 12-13 hours a night and since she doesn't eat much during the day she fills up on milk at night. So, oddly enough, the really thin Nature Babycare disposable diapers are what we use overnight for the past few months. Luckily, she's doing awesome with potty training so we'll be done with diapers soon!!!
This. I use a Hemp Babies insert in between the newborn and regular BG inserts. Holds her 12-13 hours every time. She doesn't drink a lot right before bed but she does always have what seems like a 3lb diaper when she wakes!
This was us too. We did end up using disposables (Earth's Best) a lot at night because Eli had frequent diaper rash that only cleared up with Desitin.
We're up to almost age three using CDs (this kid is never going to potty train, I swear. He has ZERO interest.). Most nights the addition of a hemp doubler with the regular fuzzy bunz insert is plenty, and the addition of a BG newborn insert during the day works perfectly. Owen drinks a TON of water before bed, during the night, etc., and yet we still rarely have issues.
Oh yeah, I forgot -- before Owen got too big for them, we used DryBees and BabyBeehinds bamboo and hemp fitteds with Thirsties covers. Those worked AWESOME. Thirstiest diapers ever.
