Squirrels have taken over my yard!
We have a big tree in front of one of our windows. This seems to be the squirrels home. I see them on the window screen, hear them on the roof and I'm certian one is going to fall through the screen in the back and land in the pool! They also LOVE to play on the trampoline enclosure. My Hs' car had the wire harness chewed, the people at the shop thought it was rats, I think it was squirrels!
I love squirrels (I used to have a pet flying squirrel), but, these squirrels are getting to be a bit much! I don't think they like my neighbors yard, as they seem to stay in mine!
Does anyone else have a squirrel problem?
Re: Squirrels have taken over my yard!
When we lived at the apartment complex we had a huge squirrel problem. I do.not.like.squirrels. Do not. They would tear up my veggie garden, tease my cats (and consequently my cats would run around the house like morons knocking shiiit over trying to get them), and expect me to feed them because a neighbor did.
Get a super soaker. That seemed to work for me. I didn't want to hurt them, but I sure as hell didn't want them around.

I will try the super soaker! But my H presure washes and the squirells are not scared. (he does not shoot it at them)
I do have a crazy guy that lives down the street, maybe I could leave a trail of food to his house and let him deal with the squirrels! LOL
Effing squirrels cost me about $3K last year. They sit on our fence and tease the dog and one day she went tearing across the yard to get to them and tore both ACL's in her back legs. Poor thing. ACL surgery for dogs is not cheap!
