Good online websites about visiting Thailand?

Other than tripadvisor forums....

Or pimp out your travel blog if you have been to Thailand....

Re: Good online websites about visiting Thailand?

  • The Lonely Planet Thorntree forum is good, and Travelfish was really helpful, too, especially for picking an island/beach.

This is my blog about our trip to Thailand and Cambodia. Feel free to ask me any questions you have and I'll do my best to help.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.

I actually used MDGirl's blog when I was planning my trip to Thailand and Cambodia last summer, so definitely use her as a resource :) I also have several entries about my trip to those two countries last year on my blog here . Feel free to email me with any questions - umdsteph at yahoo.

  • Hi there...I second Travelfish - I used that one a fair amount when I was in Thailand.  I spent 5 weeks in Thailand as part of a round the world trip last year, so I have a fair amount on my blog about it:  http://www.surroundedbythesound.com/?cat=47   I spent a lot of time in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, and also visited Sukothai and some places on the coast/islands.  Feel free to send me an email through the blog if you have any questions (I'm only on here sporadically).  I loved Thailand and can't wait to return someday.  Have fun!
