This is random, but I for one always love knowing about great products and/or deals. As we know, sometimes warehouse clubs have fantastic deals and other times you're better off shopping at regular discount stores. So, basically, i thought i'd share some things we've bought at costco that i know are either great deals or awesome products or both, and encourage anyone to add their own. i love to know that i'm getting a great bargain from someone who has already done the comparison.
1. in the back cooler they sell these big bags of bell peppers - mix of red, orange and yellow for $3.99. They are are TONS of mini ones, they last for a long time in your fridge and add great flavor to lots of our meals. considering a single red pepper sells for like $3 at target, these are a steal and a constant in our house.
2. close to the door when you come in they have a 4 roll set of the kirkland wrapping paper for $9.99. The quanity and quality are unmatched by any discount store. you get 4 big rolls of reversible paper that is that super nice heavy stuff that makes wrapping easy, the same type sells in tiny rolls for $5/each at target.
3. i randomly purchased new car mats last time we were there, which came in handy since adam just bought his new car. they are super thick rubber mats that come in a variety of neuntral colors for $9.95 for a set of 4. adam said they'd usually be $10 each.
4. they have a cuisinart hand blender that comes w/ a mixer and food processor and is a 2 speed (wish mine had this, it just has one speed) for only $19! compare at $50 elsewhere. i might get a couple just to use as future shower gifts...
5. everyone already knows this, but their carter pjs are always much cheaper than anywhere else.
6. driscoll strawberries are 2.50/lb, where they are selling at 3.50 elsewhere.
7. they have awesome prices on books and kids activity sets that i like to buy to pass our winter dull days and to give as gifts.
i know there is more and i also know i'm a walking advertisement for costco, i'm just always so impressed by their prices and quality.

I also love their sheet cakes- I think they're about $17. And that's completely decorated and with yummy filling too!
I would also recommend their tire center. We saved probably over $300 by using them. There's a ton of stuff included in their services that you'd get nickel and dimed for at a regular place.
I was just going to post this. Those berries are evil!!!
How much does a membership cost?
Is there a time that non-members can go to check it out?
I'm not aware of any non-member days. It's $50/year, and you can split that with someone outside of your home. So, my mom and I each pay $25 a year and we each get our own cards. It's definitely worth it for me.
You can always tag along with someone who has a membership, and just pay cash for your part.
