I am so effing awkward
At dance class last night we were cooling down after learning choreography and the girl behind me, who is new and I've never talked to before, asked me if I knew the name of the song we'd just learned. The name of the song is "Niggas in Paris." I debate how I'm going to say this name in a non-awkward way. The cool-down music was turned up pretty loud.
I say, "Uh...'N-word in Paris?'"
Her: "What?"
"Ummm....N*grumblegrumble* in PARIS."
"Huh?"
"NIGGAS in PARIS!"
Of course at this exact moment my teacher had stopped the music. The whole room, including a very sweet black grandma there to pick up her granddaughter all look at me like 
.
"....is the name of the SONG. That we learned. That I didn't name....That's a terrible name for a song..."
I wanted to DIE.
My teacher said something like, "Oh, it's with an "A"...you know..." which totally was not helping, thankyouverymuch fellow awkward white person!
/dies again.

Beta #1=81.1 Beta #2=134.5 Beta #3=58.1 #4=2369 WTH?!-Not sure if its viable
2/21/13 - Went to RE expecting the worse and saw the flutter of the heart...still measuring small. To God be the Glory!!
2/28/13 - heart rate = 147bpm!! Measuring on target!

The name of the writing group I belong to is the Neighborhood Writing Alliance, or NWA for short.
A few weeks ago we were talking about how when I (and a lot of people my age) hear NWA, they think of the band.
"What band?" said some people.
I hemmed and hawed and tried to figure out how to say it until the one black guy in the group blurted out, "N!ggers With Attitiude."
