TGIF!

Friday, Friday. Woohoo!

So you know the drill. Week in review, weekend forecast.

Re: TGIF!

  • My week was good. Fairly uneventful, actually. Right now DS is still sleeping and I want to go wake him up because I love snuggling with him in the morning.

This weekend we are moving in to my father's house. We'll be staying in his guest room for Sunday and Monday night since the closings start at 10am on Tuesday. So we'll be getting everything out of the house, which, honestly, is not much stuff at all.

I am so impressed with DH. He really has accomplished so much. He's so organized that I shouldn't be that surprised, but our house is basically empty and I feel like it wasn't the horrible experience I was anticipating.

  • Woot!

Week in review: good week! Got a lot of stuff done around the house, DD did super well at swim lessons, got a lot of knitting done :)

Weekend forecast: Busy. DH has an event in NH tomorrow, and we have company coming tonight to go with him. The guest rooms are set up, and I've been tempted to ask RnV her secrets to hosting guests ;)

  • I'm so glad the packing went better than you expected.  I never want to move again, it is such a pain.

My week was fine, really busy.  This weekend I don't have anything planned except small house projects.  I should go visit my parents but I think I am better off getting some stuff done instead.

Oh, you know her. She only stocks the fridge with all of their favorite foods and drinks and serves them gourmet meals!

I'm still waiting for her to invite me over for the weekend, her guests live the good life! Haha :-)

Crying  You guys are cracking me up over here!  I clearly talk too much about having guests over--I can't even remember telling you guys about feeding them or anything.  Oh, except for the vegan couple--that definitely required a little bit of forethought, though really I know they're good about taking care of themselves and I was mostly like, "Here's the one meal I can make for you.  We're going out to eat the rest of the time."

The week was fine.  Weekends are much more fun to talk about.  I'm sending DH up to Stowe with a friend tomorrow because I'm just not that into snowboarding.  I'm glad I skipped out because I got asked to play in a volleyball tournament tomorrow instead and I'd much rather do that.  Sunday will be taken up with more Chinese New Year stuff with family (there's a lot of traditions and visits and eating...I love this holiday!).

  • Oh, and LadyE, so glad to hear the moving process is going well!  I'm with baker, I never want to do it again, even though I know I'll have to eventually.

And we should totally have a girls' night in.  I've got a giant bottle of Grey Goose that I could use some help with Drinks.  We'd have to get Punky to fly up too.

  • Glad the move is going smoothly so far, LadyE! Good luck with all the closings/paperwork next week.

This week has been crazy, between crazy faculty requests, training, and traveling to RI. I am so glad it's Friday. Tonight, I'm going out with a couple of friends/co-workers for drinks/gossip.  Tomorrow morning, the groomer is coming to handsome up Jack. Hopefully, he won't freak the eff out too much. I'm not sure what else we'll get up to, because I am so ready to chillax.  We talked about maybe going to a movie or something, but we'll see how we feel.

Dude, of course you could come!  And before we get too sloshed I might hit you up for some knitting tips--I'll let you play with my Addis and Harmonies, haha!

Hmm, I might seriously have to consider this.  Maybe in March.  I'd have to set up a playdate for DH somewhere though to get him out of the way, hahaha!

  • I'll bring lobster mac and cheese if I can come. : )

The week started off busy, but ok. Now I'm sick. : (

Stupid soar throat... although being sick does get me out of attending two board meetings, so it's not all bad.

Weekend is all about relaxing, trying to get better and finishing my demographics project for my grad. class.

  • My parents are in town.

I'm finally almost feeling normal again. Except my ear still hurts terribly, but I see the doc for that again on Monday.

My MOH dress? The size 10 fthat I could fit myself and an average sized 8 year old girl in as well?  Too small. Yes, you read that right. The damn seamstress took 1/2 inch too much off the chest so now I cannot zip it up. They said they would fix it and it will be ready Monday (I told them I was leaving Tuesday so they would give their sh!t together because originally they wanted me to pick it up the DAY before I left.

My mom and I are running errands for my sister's bridal shower today.

I have DH's birthday dinner out tonight and brunch with friends in the morning.

    That's about all!

  • hholy crap, punky, how does that happen?!  you have had the worst luck with this wedding!
