What's the last domestic vacation you took? I can't remember! I've been to Chicago for work most recently and stayed over the weekend to hang out with a friend, if that counts. If not, I guess we were in San Francisco last year.
What's the last international vacation you took? Brazil for my friend's wedding in October.
What's the next vacation you plan to take? Safari in Africa, probably Kenya or Tanzania.
What's the next vacation you want to take? Same as above.
How many continents have you been on? N. America, S. America, Europe, Asia = 4. Hopefully I can say Africa later this year. Definitely want to get to Australia but not sure when yet. Not sure if we'll ever make it to Antarctica.
How many states have you been to (layovers don't count unless you left the airport and did something)? Hmm...MA, ME, NH, VT, MA, NY, RI, CT, PA, NJ, NY, MD, NC, GA, FL, WI, IL, MN, TX, CO, UT, AZ, NV, WA, CA, HI, AK = 27 + D.C. (and Puerto Rico & U.S. Virgin Islands if you want to count that stuff)
How many countries have you been to (again, layovers don't count)? U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Costa Rica, U.K., Ireland, Spain, Italy, France, Greece, Indonesia, China/Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore = 15. I think I got them all. So not really that many in the grand scheme of things but not too bad either.
Do you usually check bags when you fly? Hell no. If it doesn't fit in my carry on, it just doesn't come with me. I'm a pro at packing relatively lightly.
Do you like to travel with others (besides DH of course--friends, family, etc.)? We've had good experiences traveling with small groups or just one other couple, but generally I prefer to do our own thing.
Do you typically plan/book trips on your own or do you use a travel agent? I usually do everything on my own. Africa will be different as you pretty much have to use a tour operator when planning a safari.

Yes, see above. Part of me really wants to take her to MD to meet my friends. Part of me wants to wait until she's older. I used to do mom/daughter trips with my mom every other year, and I can't wait until DD is old enough to come along. DH will be lonely, though.
