UGH, I'm BORED!!! I don't want to be at work and I'm meandering at my few tasks I have. Sorry for being a PW. I miss my FB games!!!
Rant: I have this antique dresser that my mom bought a long time ago, I really like the shape, it has claw feet on the front, 2 short drawers and two long drawers and all the drawers are serpentine in shape. I want to find a matching one, or at least one that's very close. I had found one on CL and quickly emailed the person to get the dimensions to make sure it was similarly sized, but apparently they removed their ad between my seeing it and emailing so my email got returned 
All I can find are ones they are asking too much for, or worse...PAINTED. UGH!! I hate everyone taking great pieces and trying to "shabby chic" them with bad paint jobs. I'm too lazy to do the refinishing to sand off all that crap paint. Stop ruining good furniture!
Rave: I stopped in to SBUX inside Safeway this morning. I had to go put gas in a portable container for H who ran out of gas on his way to work (funny because he's always so paranoid about running out of gas, so much so I make fun of him!). I went over to get a donut and exclaimed, "How can they have no bismarks?!" A bakery gal was nearby putting something on a shelf and overheard me and offered to go see if they had more. "They're my favorites, too!" she said. She found some. Rock on awesome girl!

Rant - I'm sick. I feel like poo.
Rave - bkb has been asleep since 9:40am. She even woke up twice and some mini cries and put herself back to sleep. She also put herself to sleep for this nap. She's not in her crib and I have the white noise going, but it make me happy. It is helping me rest. We were due to be some where at 12:30, but luckly I have understanding friends and she is okay if we show up when we show up.

Rant: My washer is broke. I hate dealing with household things. I really wish DH would take care of some of this stuff sometimes.
Rave: We're going bowling and having drinks with friends/DH's coworkers tonight. We know this crowd gets a bit out of hand so we were adults and got a hotel room.
repeat rant: My name is not Janet. My hyphenated last name is not just Jones (not my real last name), it's actually Chan-Jones, as it's written out. Please stop calling me Janet Jones. Gah!
rave: I got to sleep in this morning!
Additional rant: I just asked IT when he was going to unblock FB and he said, "Oh, so you finally figured it out!" Um, I figured it out as soon as the rest of our Internet started working again but that one site wouldn't load, I'm NOT stupid. And he confirmed it was HIS decision, not from up top and it pisses me off because I know it's directed at me. How is my playing a game on FB ANY DIFFERENT from the other website Flash-based games my other coworkers play? It ISN'T!!

i don't know how to block.. i'm already down 100 from my heaviest.. actually 110+lbs.
anyway, i'm getting closer to 100lbs lost from my heaviest last year mid/late april. i'm trying to get there before the end of march.. and trying to do most of it before i leave for mexico. 
Rant: I had to pay $300 at the dentist's office for my fillings. Blah....
Rave: My dentist said I should be able to get Invisaligns. Yay! Also, I saved .10 on gas at Shell for using my Fred Meyer card. I enjoy the little things.

I am feeling very ranty today
Rant: I cannot believe I went through all that surgery BS and I have another tumor. I went from no pain and no scars to a really ugly scar and pain all the time. These should have stopped in my early 20's. I am now worried it is my IUD causing them and I will have to take it out. The IID is the only thing that keeps my cramps controlled. I used to miss work every month because they were so bad. I am a total sourpuss today now too...
Rave: I really don't have one right now. I will post later if my cranky azz cheers up.
Rant: the people who own the unit above us are remodeling their bathroom and I'm finding myself dealing with horrid fumes, the occasional sound of a jackhammer-like object, and bouts of no water. Not good.
Rave: I went to Nordstrom to return a dress today, and walked right by a to-die-for pair of pumps, so I impulse bought them and I haven't regretted my decision, not even for one millisecond. I haven't bought a new pair of dress shoes in about 4 months, so I think it's fine. Hopefully H will, too, when he gets home tonight....

Thanks! I actually figured they'd be a good travel shoe because they can go with darks or neutrals. And they're low heel so they're comfortable. There was another pair they had that I was eyeing, but they had sky-high heels and I'm just not that coordinated. Or that young anymore, to where I can still pull that stuff off for a night without major foot pain.
