My MIL had two diamonds from a ring her FIL gave her made into earrings for me. I wear them all the time.

That's so sweet! I just got a pair of sterling studs in hopes they will work with my uber sensitive ears.

SS - my ears became allergic to my jewelry so I only wear earrings on super-special occasions. The last time was my wedding! But I finally found some "earring condoms" to try next time I'm feeling adventurous except they won't work with French posts, which all my favorite earrings have. But...my choice is usually lightly dangly. I love French wires

I have a pair of sterling silver dangly earrings that DH gave me (along with a matching necklace) for our one-year dating anniversary. I basically wear them every day, unless I have an outfit that would require something else (usually dressing up).

LOL, they aren't ACTUALLY called that, but my friend first told me about them and that's what she always called them. I finally came across some in Ben Franklin in Redmond but haven't tried them yet. Like I said, they won't work with curved French wires since they're made for posts.

I have diamond studs and diamond hoops; love them both. I will wear one 24/7 for months, then switch for months. Can't pull the trigger on getting a second hole...

I usually have naked ears. I have a lot of holes in my lobes too to dress up! I feel bad but oh well. I used to wear smalls hoops year round until I took lifeguard training and had to take them out. I want to get more of those, just haven't. I would love small diamonds from H, he knows so maybe my bday or christmas I'll have something new to wear!

Have you tried clear nail polish on the earring posts? My mom is super allergic to nickle and does this to hers and she can wear pretty much any earring now.

I have a pair of silver studs i've been wearing a lot lately, usually i wear fairly simple french hooks and for special occasions i either wear diamond studs or dangly/sparkly-type earrings (depending on event/outfit).
