Question re: References

When an interview is over do you offer to give the interviewer your references or do you wait for the interviewer to ask for references?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Question re: References

  • I wait for them to ask. I have them ready in case they ask at the interview, though

  • I too come with a list of references and wait for them to ask.

  • I own a company and have to interview people often. I like when people have them ready to go at the end of an interview and offer them to me. I also like if they E-mail me their resume when the also include references. If I recognize one of their references it may give them a better chance of getting an interview with me.
