Jackie (jl&jl) graciously watched Helen so DH and I were able to go alone.

Everything went great, except right before the appointment when I had a "full bladder" as requested and I thought I was going to explode so I ran to the bathroom about 30 seconds before they called my name. Why they do that kind of torture to a pregnant woman, I'll never understand! It was pointless anyway because I'm too early to see much of anything transabdominal (besides my hugely full bladder) so I got to pee and get the transvaginal (aka dildo-cam).

I'm so glad everything turned out well and you're right on track. I hate that whole full bladder thing. I never make it.

Oh, and she shared the "one" news with me pretty soon after I came to JiJi's. Breaking our hopes of any naming rights :P

It was my pleasure watching Helen. It went something like this "Adrian's mom, I want you to play with me. Adrian's mom, you are going to be a firefighter, just like me. We're going to ride our horses to Africa. It's far away. We need to fight fires if we see them. We need a hose. Okay, Adrian's mom, get on your horse. Adrian's mom, you need to stand up to move when you're on your horse. Adrian's mom, hurry, we need to get to Africa" Thankfully she let me play from a seated position when I said "I am imagining riding so fast over mountains." DH and I got a kick out of how she called me "Adrian's mom" every couple sentences. She's got quite the imagination! And then the playdate got even better with tea parties was even better with Caroline coming too. Thanks for a great afternoon, ladies!
