sorry it's been a few days since i've even checked the board here... just been so busy & depressed. i literally spent all of yesterday & the day before in the kitchen at school (in class & getting some hours for practicum) & today i made an appointment for mocha with the vet for first thing in the morning..she hasn't been eating at all (without throwing back up) since monday...so we're gonna let her sleep so she doesn't suffer any more...

thanks everyone for the comforting words. my sister & her husband are going to let us bury her on their large farm-like property tomorrow so we'll always be able visit her if we want. especially since we can't bury her here from not only my parents losing the house at some point (i dunno what's going on with it at this point) but also for if/when we move out of state. i would get her cremated & put in a nice box like mom did with our old dogs years ago, but nayan grew up to believe that if u keep a person's ashes, u're not accepting that they're dead and can't move on. so the burial at my sister's will be best.

I'm sorry I took so long to reply to this, you posted it right at a time when I was devastated over my own kitty being sick and having to decide whether or not to put her to sleep.

(For the record, both DH and the vet think it's a bit premature, they both want to do some further testing once we have the money to make sure it isn't something we can fix). I'm so sorry about your kitty. Considering how bad it feels to even just be considering putting them to sleep, I can't imagine how horrible it is to actually have to do it. *hugs*
