What would you get if

you were given 500 Euro as a gift? You can't put it in the bank for savings, you have to get something with it.

Re: What would you get if

  • lots of books

or I'd commission a diaper bag to be made exactly like I want it. The thread the other day got me looking around at options, and I wish I could design my own for traveling.

  • Well since my laptop is 4 years old and I'm in a market for a new one. I would put it towards a new one. All the ones I'm looking at right now are out of budget. So it would be nice to have extra for my budget. :)

Otherwise... I would spend it on a new set of clothes. Like completely styled and everything. I need some style big time! And to spend a little extra on some things I normally wouldn't.

  • Either a bag or a pair of shoes.
  • I'd book my flights and hotels for my trip to Canberra in March.  But if that's not allowed:  a baker's rack, an ice cream maker, a blender, and a waffle maker, and books with whatever is leftover.

Super nice dinner with nice wine

  • Not sure, but options are:

    Book a vacation/long weekend/something fun

    New computer

Have a designer I know make me a dress (I recently saw a picture of a vintage Dior dress, which I could NEVER EVER afford, but I'm sure for 500 euro's that designer can make me something with the same look and feel!)

  • I really need new clothes and shoes right now.

We also need to buy tickets to the Bahamas for a wedding.  So the money would free up money for the tickets if I am not allowed to spend it on travel.  More shoes, bag, clothes!

  • A stick vaccum and part of the payment for the electronic drumset DH wants/needs.
  • Travel, that's where any extra money always goes!

But I'm also in the market for a pair of electric blue heels to go with a dress I just bought...

If it has to be for ME, then new clothes, mine are all too big.

  • Travel or books, definitely.

You're only 9 months post partum, it took me 3 years to start getting back into shape and feel motivated to work out.
