Since the Pats will be heading to the Super Bowl XLVI in just a couple of weeks, I figured I might as well ask what your plans are! Any special dishes you'll be making for the big game? Will you be attending a party, or watching at home? Or, will you eschew the whole thing and be doing something else come February 5th?
Re: Super Bowl party plans?
We have friends who we try to watch every Sunday Pats game with throughout the season. So, we'll be heading down to their house to watch the game. So, even though there are other invites for parties, we'll be watching the Super Bowl with our regular crew.
I've made these Touchdown Poke Cupcakes in the past. My favorite combo is chocolate with raspberry jello.
Definitely watching the game, we are very excited! But no plans for doing anything special. We thought about inviting people over, but our TV is super small compared to most people's... so it seems like a silly idea. We'll still enjoy ourselves, though!
Usual football food in this house is chips and guacamole during halftime... but that's not really festive. We're so boring! haha.
We are closing on our new house on Tuesday, so I'm mostly just excited to be able to watch it in the new place!
I always make buffalo chicken dip, pepperoni bread, and cocktail meatballs. Healthy, I know haha
we will probably be at my in-laws house. We leave at half time to get the kids to bed at a decent hour though.
