How to change username??

So I am new to this and another nestie pointed out that I shouldn't have my e-mail as my user name.

I don't even remember being asked for a username when I signed up with the knot over two years ago and certainly wouldn't have put my e-mail in for it. However it happened, now I can't figure out how to change it. When I go edit my profile it doesn't even list a user name in section that can be edited. When I searched how to change it the message board discussion said I had to delete my account and start over. When I searched how to delete my account they said it's not possible.

When I click on the "help" section for the nest it says that page no longer exists.

This is really frustrating, can anyone help me out?

You can't. You have to creare a new profile.

I can't create a new profile because this one is attached to my e-mail address. Setting up a whole new e-mail account just for this website would be pretty silly. Oh well...

Actually, you can. You can email the Nest asking them for a user name change, and they'll do it. It might take them a while to get back to you, but it's pretty easy.

i emailed them and they said no, at this time that feature is not available

I changed mine in the past year, so IDK.
