DH and I decided to list our spare room for rent. Just curious what other Mainers think!

You have a really neat house!
I would stay there, if I didn't have a hang-up about sharing a kitchen and bathroom with strangers. (I have "performance anxiety" in bathrooms I perceive to be public.)

It's such a great house! The room is cute, too.
The hangup I would have (or more so, DH) would be the shared bathroom. I work at a B&B and all of our rooms have private bathrooms. One is across the hallway from the room and we've had people have reservations about that - and they can even lock the bathroom from the outside if they want. So, that would be my only concern. However, I think people that are going to use that site are looking for the type of space you are providing, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
