Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
Saw this on Facebook and it made me laugh... so true though!

It is way too true. It even happens when a kid gets in trouble. I can't tell you how many of my meetings (over 50 % is my guess) where parents do not support te schools and demand to know why their child got suspended and what happened and how the school is the reason. Or of course, why the kid got an f in his class.
It makes it extremely hard for the administration in a school to have any control when the parents diminish the authority of the school in front of the child. If the parent doesn't care, why should the kid? It's SO frustrating.
