@ US & European doll sizes (inches v. cm)
I am posting on the off-chance anyone knows the answer to this. DD has two 15" dolls we brought with us (American Girl Bitty Baby & Twin. if that matters). I've seen a bunch of 40 cm doll clothing here which appears to be about 15.75 inches. Any idea whether they would fit? It seems like the European doll clothes might be narrower. Everything comes wrapped in a plastic and tissue paper, so there's no chance of trying it on the dolls at stores. The brands I've seen are Petitcollin and Gotz.

Thanks. I decided to ask my MIL to sew some new outfits for DD's dolls since she is coming in a few months and I sent her pictures of some of the ones we had seen here.
If only I were handy with a sewing machine!
