Guys, I just realized I am going to be 30 soon.
This is slightly freaking me out, I am so not old enough to be 30.
I think that is all I have to say on that.

This. I haven't been here for long (about 8 months), but by the time I hit 30 I was stoked that I knew who I wanted to spend my life with, was relatively financially stable, and had cut all the crazy drama of my 20's out of my life.
Plus, any time I freaked out about turning 30, I was like, 'Well, the alternative is to not make it to 30, so this is definitely the better of two options.' Party it up while in your 20s, though!
I don't really act my age most of the time and I think it's the age in your heart (cheezy!) that matters more. Have a fabulous 30th birthday! (I wanted to do a big murder mystery dinner with my friends or rent out the back room at some restaurant or club and have a party, or go to Italy with my mom and.... none of those things happened. Instead, D took me to a restaurant and we just celebrated all low-key together for my 30th.)

i'm terrified of actually *being* 30 (i still have a few years to go, *cough cough*), but i've felt 30-ish for a while...can't be that bad.

I don't even think it is that old - I just don't know how it happened so fast! I swear I was 23 yesterday...
which is weird--because i feel like i've been in my 20's for-ev-er. and i'm still mid-20's. i'm sure when i'm nearing 30, i'll feel like it was a blink, too.

I remember when I was in my early 20's time moved so slow, the last few years have just flown by.
