Re: PG/Mom Check-In
Alicia you're next!!!!!
Today is Amelia's one month check-up. Hopefully she doesn't cry for her Hep B booster and she weighs a lot! Now what is she going to wear? ...
her pretty white dress?? lol
We're going to have a couple back up names just in case, but I think that's it! Phew, that was tough. Now a middle name...
Checking in!
Alicia, my little guy was born 2/23/09 and I so wanted for his birthday to be 2/22. 2/22 is much cooler...I'm a number nerd.
I'm 22.5 weeks. Feeling great and trying to enjoy being pregnant and life before a newborn comes in just 4 months!!
Photo/Family Blog
We just have to fiure out what food we're serving at Zoe's bday party and I think that is it. It's going to be a small party. My parents, in-laws, and my sister are coming from OOT and then a few close friends from around here. I am excited!
I can't believe my little monster is almost one!
I have baby fever, bad. In fact, I dreamt about my ob/gyn last night. He had such a long wait in his office that I rented a hotel room. LMAO! Sounds about right!
I'm finalizing things for Kennedy's party. We took her to Busch Gardens for the first time this weekend and she had SO much fun! It's a little hard knowing she's about to be one and we're still not crawling forward or walking. I know that she'll eventually do all these things, and when she's ready, but at the same time, it's really hard to see so many kids born after her already walking. However, I will admit, I'm glad I get to savor the baby stage a little bit longer. She's doing really amazing and I couldn't be more proud of her.
My appointment with MFM has been scheduled for February 8. As much as I didn't want to do testing, the more I talked to H, the more I realized he was NOT going to be okay if we had another surprise diagnosis at birth. We'll be having a non-invasive blood test done, that's over 99% accurate. I'm scared to death - not of Down syndrome, but the health issues that can come with it. Kennedy has been very healthy and I'm scared of what would happen if this baby wasn't as healthy and we had to spend a lot of time in the hospital, etc. and how we would manage that and still give Kennedy all the time she deserves. But I can't change things, so I'm trying not to dwell on it. I'm hoping they'll do an ultrasound and we'll get at least a hint at the gender when we go next week! I started feeling movement last week for sure! It's still inconsistent and I really only notice it when I'm relaxing at night.
Hello ladies : ) I'll be 30 weeks tomorrow and boy oh boy this little one is definitely growing and becoming more active. My last appointment was find except for the elevated white blood cells count, and is probably because of my coughing and its bad enough to be considered an infection. So, next appointment they will check my blood count again (white) and see if it has gone down. My coughing is so bad sometimes I would end up puking, it sucks!
My baby shower is scheduled for Feb. 26th, I can not wait! my bestfriend, my sister, and DH's SIL is doing a great job keeping all the details a surprise. Im usually the event planner in the group, so Im itching to help but they wont let me lol.
Im debating if I want to pay for a private 3D ultrasound session in Brandon at "Meet the Baby" since we don't have any U/S scheduled since there's no medical reason to have one. Its a bit pricey so still thinking about it.
And lastly, Baby Room is still on hold. We have not done anything! aaahhhh
I'm finally in the 3rd trimester, woohoo! We ordered the baby's furniture this weekend. Here is the crib...so excited to have it all officially ordered now!
I had my one hour glucose challenge today and I failed by ONE point, I almost wish I didn't know that...so close, yet so far. So next Monday I go in for the three hour test. I rec'd my Rhogam shot today as well, it was a fun appt, lol. I start going every two weeks now, can't believe I'm at that stage!
Mason is 6 months old now! I cannot believe it. So crazy how fast this goes.
Tomorrow we have his doctors visit and he is getting shots. Poor guy!
He still has not rolled over but is soooo close. Also he is doing well as sitting up on his own. Da Da are his favorite words to say and I just love to hear him talk. Overall he is such a happy baby and we could not be more lucky. After tomorrow's doctor visit we will hopefully start cereal. We were told to hold off until he sees the doctor as he had some #2 issues and cereal would constipate him so we needed to wait until those got figured out.
I am still BF'ing which is going pretty good. I cannot produce enough BM during the day when I pump so I must use one of my freezer packs each day to send him to school with 3 bottles. I only have 10 left so once they are gone we will have to start using formula. I cant believe i have made it 6 months, I didnt think I would make it past 2 weeks with the issues I had.
MacKenzie is such a pistol. I love her but she is driving me crazy! She does some crazy stuff and is into everything! But her burst of language is amazing at this point. She is repeating everything we say now and has started counting and is learning her colors. Her favorite is "geen." I am amazed at how incredibly smart she is. We are taking MacKenzie to Sea World this weekend and looking forward to a cheap trip (I get in free because I am a teacher and she is, well, 1). Choo Choo Soul is doing a concert there and MacKenzie LOVES Choo Choo Soul, so it should be very fun watching her enjoy the concert.
Baby 2.0 is also driving me crazy, lol. I am already starting to feel him or her and I love it. It's still at the point where it doesn't hurt for him or her to kick me. But this baby must be sitting very high because I am short of breath doing even the simplest of tasks (I am even having issues standing up in front of the class and teaching). I am also having horrible headaches that often turn into migraines at the end of the day. I am taking Tylenol and when that is not working, firocet (a migraine prescription). It's making life very, very difficult. I am trying all these different things to relieve it, but nothing...
My Married Bio!
My BFP Chart!
I can't believe that my little baby is going to be 4 weeks old tomorrow! She's getting so big and looks so different from birth already. She's starting to fit into most of her newborn clothes and is almost too big for her last preemie outfit. I weighed myself and then held her and got on the scale last night, and she's about 7 pounds. I can't believe it! She was 5 lbs, 9 ozs at the doctor on the 19th.
We did tummy time for the first time today (the pedi had us do it on our chests at first since she was so small). About 30 seconds after I put her on her tummy, she rolled onto her back. Is that normal?? She's super squirmy, but that seems insanely early. I think maybe she just had a lot of momentum going?
Aaack, I know! Bags are packed and while the nursery isn't 100% finished (we've had delays with the painting) it will be done this weekend regardless. Now is the part I hate: patiently waiting.
