Hey Moms...help me please re: Snap n Go stroller

I possibly may be confused.... I bought a Baby Trend Snap n Go on Friday off Craigslist. The carrier (Safety 1st) we have wasn't listed as one of the ones that's compatible. I googled and found a blog where someone said in fact it does fit even though it's not listed on the Baby Trend website. The nice girl showed me how it worked and stuck TJ's carseat in it. I looked like it fit to me. So I bring it home and T is all theres no place for it to snap into, this doesn't fit, it looks shady, you need to think before buying crap, you're spending my money on garbage (he's lucky I didn't drop kick him after that comment) and so on. I *think* it fits but now this guy has me second guessing myself. Can someone please tell me how to tell if it fits? Oh and I Youtubed it but can only find the double Snap n Go for the Safety 1st carseats.

  • I don't have the same carseat but try rear-facing it. Also, I think it can only use the safety straps to hold in, but won't snap.

  • I had Chicco which isn't listed to fit either I believe, bc it also never "snapped" in. There is a strap that holds it down. It doesn't look like the most sturdy thing and I was always careful using it. I wouldn't use it as a jogging stroller lol. Quick in and out of store trips and you'll be fine.
  • I had a Chicco also. While it didn't "snap" in like kendra said it fit in pretty snug on mine. You put it in rear facing and it sits on these tabs that are built into the frame. You can also use the extra straps to secure it. Honestly I didn't feel that it was unsturdy at all. But agree I wouldn't go running with it. LOL.
  • I agree with Kendra and JennyNel.I had Chicco and borrowed the Graco Snap and Go and it worked perfect.  It doesn't "snap in" but it rested fine and we used it the whole time we had car seat (1 year). I wouldn't jog with it either though LOL.

  • Thanks dolls. I'm so glad you all were able to confirm what I was thinking. I did have it rear facing, sitting on the tabs and with the straps buckled and it seemed just fine to me. He was taking the "snap" in the name literally I guess. Oh and this fat azz isn't jogging any time soon so that isn't even an option lol. I needed something that would take up less room in my suv than the travel system for our roadtrip to Florida since we will have our bags, travel swing and pack n play.
