Yeah, DH and I only caught up right before Season 2 started, but now we're finally catching them live. I've also gotten two of my other friends hooked.
P.S. I totally cried at the end of this episode.

DH is out of town for 10 weeks and I downloaded the first season to keep me busy at night. It was so good that I watched, uh, alll the episodes. First and second season, and tonight's, live.
I think I have a problem. But it is so, so good.
Haha! DH and I are all the time calling each other "Misstah Bayyytes" and "My lover, Pamuk".
I am so tempted to order the dvds of the whole season just so I can watch it in one sitting. That's how we did the first season and it was so much better. It seems to move quicker and you have less time to think about how overly melodramatic it is.
ALSO, WTF WITH LADY MARY NOT GIVING BATES MAD CASH FOR SAVING HER ASS WHEN HE SPENT ALL HIS MONEY KEEPING MRS BATES QUIET! That's messed up.
DH and I are watching too. We LOVE it. I haven't watched last night's episode yet but can't wait to do it tonight.
Agreed! What the hell! She was like, "Ah, right, well that sucks for you, eh? OK, I'm off then!" Boo. I am starting to like her more but ugh.

My Food Blog
You really do. So many of my friends (and people I follow on Twitter) were talking about it before Season 2 started that I was finally like, fine, let's see what all the fuss is about. And then DH and I watched the whole first season in three days. It's sooo good.
I agree with some people that season 2 is a little different--pacing is different, I feel like we're not getting as deep into some of the story lines--but it's still really good.

Me! Me! Me!
DH calls it "Brompton Manor" in a goofy British accent just to be annoying, but he loves it. (He knows that calling it by a made-up, wrong name will make me call it the wrong name too... he just likes to get under my skin in a way that I can't quite put into words.)
I call him Master Bates. Think about it. I have a middle school sense of humor.
Haven't seen last night's and won't be able to watch it until tomorrow night... so *covers eyes and ears for possible spoilers*

I am SO GLAD ppl are watching this show!
There is going to be a Season 3 & Shirley McClain (sp?) is going to be Lady Grantham's mom (guess who follows DA on Facebook? this girl!)
I highly recommend the other Masterpiece shows when DA is over. Occasionally there is a dud movie or mini series episode, but overall it is SUCH GOOD PROGRAMMING!

I kept seeing it pop up on the boards and decided to check it out. DH and I were both home sick last week so we caught up on all the episodes.
I wanted to post earlier but we just watched the last episode on DVR last night.
I am obsessed!
