As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

T&Ps if you can spare 'em
DH's grandfather has been battling leukemia for quite some time. He was in remission for a while but it came back last spring or summer.
He has to go to the hospital last week for multiple blood transfusions. Today, while still in the hospital, he had a heart attack and is now in a coma.
DH's parents are flying in from South Carolina tomorrow and we're going to head to the hospital in St. Cloud, which is about 1 1/2 hours away. Obviously I don't know what's going to happen. Maybe it's just his time, or maybe some sort of miracle will happen... I honestly don't think that's likely. But either way, some thoughts/prayers for the family would be nice.

We were about half way to the hospital this morning when DH's mom called to say grandpa had passed. We turned around and came home.
His parents aren't even here yet- they were supposed to fly in today, but now that they want to bring his sisters with we haven't heard whether they're still flying or if they're going to drive. Then I don't know what they're going to need from us, or when the funeral will be... we're just kind of on hold at this point.
DH is doing okay. He's upset, of course, but I'm not worried. I'm just taking care of him today while he does his thing.
