Re: Weekend Update
Mine was good! Ended up lazing around on Saturday. Went to the bookstore to pick up a book I want to re-read. Made me want a Kindle! Went grocery shopping and walked doggies at the shelter. Last night, we had my brother and SIL over for games and sushi!
Best Part: Geting to chat w/ my SIL! We are starting to connect on a deep level even though we have different life goals.
Worst Part: I couldn't really calm myself down all weekend. I was pretty emotional and cranky about petty things. Blerg.

We did not have such a great weekend. Friday I left work early because I felt sick and managed to forget my phone at work (in the fog of feeling crappy). Fortunately a co-worker offered to bring it home to me. DH's jeep died on the side of the highway, causing him to miss an appointment that he was really excited about going to (at a gym that he's looking at signing up for in ann arbor). The good news is, insurance covered the tow to a shop and DH was able to borrow a car from work for the week. This all caused us to be late to dinner at a friends house. Once we got there we had a good time, but I was still pretty sick all weekend
I did get some sewing done on Sunday. That's about it...
Best part? Dinner with friends on Friday night
Worst part? Being sick and DH's car dying...

Yuck! Sorry you had such a rough weekend! Bleh!
My weekend was good. friday we were lazy and didn't do much of anything. Saturday I ran 16 miles on a trail with my dad and 4 others. I had a few errands to run as well and after leaving the house at 6:45am, finally made it home at 5pm. DH & I went to meijer, watched a movie and I was sleeping by 9pm. Sunday I woke up with very sore legs. watched the mens Australian open on our DVR, went and did some shopping, got a couple loads of laundry done and ironed some clothes.
Best part? running 16 miles in the snowy, windy, icy conditions and buying new yoga pants.
Worst part? how sore my legs are. they are still sore from saturday so it looks like day 2 of no running.

I had a pretty busy weekend. I am in the middle of a trial that I was out of town for last week, so I actually had to go into the office on Saturday. I had a relaxing night while FI went out to Beerfest in RO with friends. Sunday I dragged him to the gym, then we had to bring the dog to his parents' house so that they can watch him for the week. We are both put of town for work this week, which is a bummer.
Best part? On Friday night, FI and I went to dinner where we had our first official date and where he proposed, and I told him that I have decided to change my last name when we get married. I hadn't planned on it, and I am REALLY not looking forward to the process, but I know that it would mean a lot to him, so I am going to do it. He got a little teary and I could tell how happy he was, so I know it was the right decision. Plus, I think we are both looking forward to the wedding, and really being a Mr. and Mrs. X, even more now. :-)
Worst part? Having to leave the dog at FIL's house. I love my dog and hate to be without him.
Our weekend was rather productive.
Peak: we got our garage cleared out and can now park a car in there! I posted 6 things on CL and have already been contacted for 4 of them. Now I just need these darn people to commit.
Pit: I didn't get to the gym a single day and I regret it. I must make a better effort to go- which means I think I need to continue to just get up early so I actually go.
Getting back to it- my diet and exercise blog

CHICAGO!!
Best Part: My cousin's team won the basketball tournament that we went to see.
Worst Part: I didn't get much sleep.
