It will be a long time before I get to try it. In my continuing saga of food allergy drama I am once again about to undergo testing. This new doctor that I am seeing is pretty sure that I don't really have food allergies to chicken, egg, green beans, and pinto beans (as I was told that I had after IgG blood tests 2 years ago) because I still feel really crappy. I was gluten free when the tests were done so she thinks I had a false negative to the gluten test. The doc is pretty certain that I have leaky gut or undiagnosed celiac disease and the positive allergens to proteins is just a reaction to the protein molecules entering my blood stream too soon and white blood cells attacking them. Apparently it happens a lot and people are misdiagnosed. I have to have a new panel of tests done and if there is any reaction to gluten I have to have an upper and lower GI done. What's unfortunate is that I had these done in college and nobody looked for celiac, they were looking for ulcers, and now they're too old to diagnose me with.
Anyway, after my tests I'm going to have to eat a very restricted diet for 60 days before I can incorporate any grains, cheese, or soy back into my diet. Pity party for 1...
Ugh, I'm so sorry you have to go through all of that again. I really hope you get some clear answers this time!
