Dresses for my girls PsIP (really PsIP now!)
trying to get back into blogging so might as well post some of the stuff I've done in my missing months!
Here is some fabric the girls and I painted this past summer:

and then the dresses I made out of the fabric this past fall:
The pattern was Izzy & Ivy's Ava Tie Top. The pattern was okay. A little expensive for what it is I thought, and it worked well for my little girl but not so much for my bigger girl.
I'll definitely have to paint some more fabric with them again. I was thinking footprints could be a lot of fun.
(blog post for a couple more pictures is here.)

Long time lurker, coming out of hiding... That fabric is so neat! The dresses are adorable too.
- what did you use to paint the fabric?
Thanks everybody! My youngest especially was hamming it up for the camera, you're right!
saunders: I used just regular old fabric paint -- I think Tulip brand? -- that comes in the little bottles at Joanns/Hobby Lobby etc. I watered it down a bit so it would be easier for the girls to paint and wouldn't make the fabric too stiff. No formula though -- just enough water until it looked right.
Hope that helps!
