I feel so out of the loop!
I'M BAA-AAAACK!
There are so many names I don't recognize! I know I'm still considered a newbie, but I feel like more of a newbie than I did before!
So newbies, tell me about yourself and I'll answer any questions you have!

Re: I feel so out of the loop!
Thanks, Ladies!
I know there were some newbies that were posting...where'd they go?
welcome! I'm new so i'm out of the loop. Who are you and where were you?
not much to tell I love this board it's the best out of all of them even though I do have kids. I don't want any more though. I found my way over here from TK after my wedding in September. I wish I would have started here first. I hated the knot. Any ways welcome back I guess.
I had forgotten about the G2G this weekend! I hope y'all have fun!
Watson, I am from Texas and I'm getting married in April. I got busy at work and couldn't get on here anymore, but now I have a more laid back job!
Tell me about you!
I'm glad your job is more laid back, Sapphire! Are you excited for your wedding?
I just realized that I won't see this till monday
To be honest with you, I am so ready to get it over with! If I didn't want to have the photos and if I didn't care that my grandmother is making my dress, I might just elope.
I'm a newb, sort of. I posted regularly on here when they first started the board a couple of years ago.
Anyhoo, I'm 35 and have a step daughter but DH don't want any kids of our own. I love to travel, read, watch movies and do active stuff like running, hiking and snowboarding.
Welcome back, Sapphire!! I am glad to hear that you have left your stressful for job for a more stress free one!! What are you doing now?
I can definitely understand the want to just say screw it all and elope (we where there many times throughout the planning process) but we are both glad we did not. It was worth (most of) the stress.
Good luck! Are you completely done with planning now, or do you still have more to do?
Have things gotten any better with your FMIL? (I think I am remembering correctly that you guys were having issues seeing eye to eye, though I apologize if I am misremembering.)
I'm working for my alma mater in their development office (I raise money for the school). Much better pay, much better working conditions, and not monotonous!
Yeah, I still have planning to do. Working on centerpieces now, tasting with caterer in Feb, grandmother is working on my dress and the bridesmaids dresses....still lots to do!
I don't remember what all I shared about my FMIL, but she does things that annoy me. I love her to pieces, but damn she annoys me and FI!
Thanks, Nosey! I'm glad to be back!
I admire that you followed your heart back to dancing!
