1) I ate a cutie, and now my hands smell like oranges. I'm pretty sure CW just caught me sniffing my hands
My right butt cheek is asleep
potato) I don't have anything else but feel that my randoms should come in threes
Re: Randoms
Now that I had to leave the dolphins, I am sad and I miss them and I hate everything.
But also, I am actually super glad to be home. I used to be such an adventurer, and now spending more than a few days away from my own bed and my cat and my wonderful cold, dry climate makes me anxious. Lamewad.
I injured myself pretty badly ay basketball last night. I rolled my ankle hard, which I never do, and then, being super smart, continued playing after icing it for a few minutes. And of course I hit my knee really hard on the opposite leg, so I can't even favor it properly. I'm hobbling around like a loser today. I'm extra sad because my rec volleyball is starting tomorrow night and it looks like I'll be out for the first game. I am irrationally upset about this. I need my sports, man. Also, the other team were huge jerks last night, super pushy and shovey. I chased this girl down on a breakaway and hacked her SO bad and cost her the basket, and didn't get called on it. Whoops.
I. I just found out that a bakery recently opened in DC that offers single-serving, fresh-baked pies. I must go there now.
cutie) I wore a long cardigan, leggings, and boots last night. I felt like a wannabe 19-year-old but it was SO COMFORTABLE.
Alfred Molina) I want to plan a trip to NYC some time in the next 3 months so I can see Newsies on Broadway.
Yes. I am wearing a loose kind of shift/tunic dress with tights and a big long open cardigan today, and I frequently do similar looks. I often feel too hobo or bag lady-ish, but dammit it makes the day so much nicer.
Omagah do iittttttt. And then come and tell me about it and I will live vicariously through you.
A) I went to the gym this morning and am very pleased with myself for having done so.
b) I only had one appointment on my work calendar this week, and it was cancelled. This will be a long week.
iii) Someone mentioned veal parmigiana on the radio this morning, and now that's all I want.
This makes me seethe with jealousy.
I also just ate a cutie and your post compelled me to smell my hands.
I'm reading Mayim Bailik's blog and am kind of totally fascinated with her.
I just took a boxing class at an MMA gym. My arms feel like jello and my face is so red it's insane, but I'm super glad I went. This is both good and bad because I bought the membership via a screensaver on my kindle. I don't even want to know how much the regular membership costs.
I still need to eat lunch. I really don't want what I have, but I don't want to get anything else either.
I'm starting that $5 savings plan thing. It's a measly amount but I think it'll be good to have some amount to have a date night or something every once in a while (in addition to our regular savings, etc.)

A place near me makes a rolo cupcake with a caramel buttercream icing that is so freakin good. I want to go to there right now. Le sigh.

A friend of mine is an artist, and just started taking commissions. She paints her greyhounds (and other dogs) often, and I like her style. I'm not sure what she would charge for commissions, but a 16x20 painting has is listed for $125. Pretty reasonable for original art, IMO. I'm thinking of buying it.
Anyway, if you want her contact info, let me know.
HT you should make it the second week of April so you can GTG with Lindsay, november, and me.
i need to buy new bras very badly. very.
hot chocolate does not make a good late afternoon chaser for a lunch of green curry chicken.

I just saw someone on Facebook post about Olive Garden and I silently judged.
I have a butt random too. I'm wearing slacks that have faux butt pockets, but for some reason it is an actual pocket, just sewn closed. The lining of the pockets keep hitting me mid-cheek and I keep thinking that my panties are falling down. They're not. Stupid pretend pockets.
There's a lady in my office whose perfume is making me feel physically ill, and I usually love perfume. And she's wearing purple lipstick, and blue eyeshadow. And so very much winged eyeliner. I'd take a picture if she weren't working so very very close to me right now.
You're supposed to cut the thread to open the pockets. If there's a pocket on the inside, they're not pretend, they're just shut.
My only random is that I've spent most of naptime fruitlessly searching in the flowerbed for my husband's wedding ring. He lost it yesterday while weeding and we haven't been able to find it. I'm beginning to lose hope.
I see this a lot on the nest and it bugs me. I love olive garden. It's yummy. I also love chick fil a and five guys and a ton of other chain places, but that doesn't mean I don't realize they aren't fine dining establishments. Not every place you enjoy needs to be impressive.
Our friends headed back home. Will and Evie are very sad.
I have a bunch of dishes to do and we need to go to the store, but I can't get my butt off the couch.
I missed last night's episode of Downton Abbey and now I'm not sure when I'll watch it, since I'm back to working tonight. Stupid work.
We had a lot of fun showing our friends around while they were here. I need to do more touristy stuff before we move.
My randoms are boring.
I love that crocidile. Cute picture Noisy!
Meh...I get it. I didn't mean to ruffle feathers. Most of the places we frequent are no where near fine dining or impressive. I just prefer our little hole in the wall places for Italian around here.
I wouldn't say my feathers are ruffled for olive garden, I just don't get the hate or why it's judge-worthy to go there.
Oh, and I obviously hadn't seen the whole other thread discussing this very topic. Oops.
