Babymoon

So I posted last week that B and I go on a cruise for our babymoon, but we're not entirely sold on the idea of a cruise vs. going to a resort. We originally thought it might be cheaper, but now, it's looking to be about the same price as just going to a resort. With all fairly new babies, and others who are PG, where did you go or where are you going on your babymoon? And why?

Aligning our schedules right now sucks (and will until July...). I am going to Florida to see my parents in February, but Ed can't come because of work/launching a new computer system. In April Ed is going to New Orleans for a week for work, but it is the week after my vacation, so I can't go with him. We are toying with the idea of going a little early so that I can go with him for a long weekend, but it is expensive for just a couple days. So, it looks like we're taking separate babymoons...

We went to a couple's only all inclusive resort in Cancun. It was incredible. I got to lounge all day while DH got to participate in the resort activities. We met some great people and the food was so yummy.

We went when I was 20 weeks pregnant and in my opinion was a great time to go! DH actually felt him kick for the first time laying by the pool. the flight was still manageable.

I went to the Bahamas. It was a gift actually. The person who gifted us the trip picked the Bahamas because it's very clean and, for lack of a better term, the most "American"-like Caribbean destination I've ever been to. I guess I have a sensitive stomach, and I've always had mild stomach issues when I've visited other Caribbean resorts (Mexico and Cuba). I didn't want to deal with that while pg. We would have chosen a cruise for similar reasons if I had been able to get the time off in time.
