Husband and I are looking for a restaurant to go to Monday for our 2nd anniversary. We really liked Sycamore but found out it's just too far away for a work night with a babysitter, we also really liked Supper in the city, but again too far away for a work night with the babysitter.
We are looking for a romantic, really good restaurant that is open on a monday, hubs likes the farm to table feel. We live in bucks county, would go a half hour/45 minutes away, but would like to stay as local as possible, and not go into the city.
Our only thoughts right now are blackfish, but we have been there before, and the website is down right now. Do you ladies have any other suggestions??
Re: Foodies come in!
The hubs and I really liked The Freight House in Doylestown. We went there for our first anniversary.

I've wanted to try Honey in Doylestown for awhile.
Also, Vilaggio in Lahaska is one of our favorite places - authentic, homemade italian and a BYO. Can't recall if they are open Mondays though so you'd have to call.

Also yeah, Modo Mio is fantastic, in NoLibs, BYOB.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
My husband and I really like Marcia Brown's in New Hope. It's retty inside, and the food is pretty good.
And as a head's up, it's Restaurant Week this week and next week down town...all the more reason to avoid the city.

this place is freaking amazing.
Get a drink at the boathouse (a tiny but very cool bar across the street)
