i also sorta introduced myself. there are 58 views.. i just feel like people could have said hi..
so maybe i'm not posting over there anymore. 
i was really kinda looking forward to it.
girls on tb, do people welcome those tta for a few months and answer questions? it seems slow but at this point, i'll take what i can get.

It might be they didn't have similar charts to you so felt they didn't have to respond? Still, it sucks. They seem very close to each other over there and GP intimidated me too much to ask all my (dumb, or so I thought) questions.
Like CDMay said, there are a lot of temp-ers here, so maybe someone knows the answer here.
I have no idea. I didn't visit TB until halfway through my pregnancy. I was never on the TTC boards just the NTFU boards.....I would just keep posting questions. Before you ask something though skim to see if it has been addressed recently (some boards get all pissy if you're the 10th person to ask the same general question in a short span of time).

GP is hard to bust into. You have to do lots of posts and GTKYs for them to open up and like you. I'm on GPMoms, but I've been on there forever (there's been a lot of turnaround lately). They also respond to you more if they see you replying to other people's posts a lot.
I'm always free for pg questions, though!

hehe this makes me giggle.
i've always been a mild lurker on GP (haven't lately, though)...they have a very buddy-buddy, cliquey atmosphere, IMO. i would lurk for a while before posting on there. and also try out seattle bump for TTA/TTC questions.

Yeah, I used to lurk over there too, but it seemed very clikey and there was a TON of drama when I was lurking and I never got into it.
the thing is is that i have lurked.. and while they are clicky, there should always be room for newbies..
anyway, the reason i really don't want to talk about ttc or tta over here is because people know i post here.. i just don't want anyone irl (besides the nesties i know irl) to know what is going on in my life..
maybe i need to stop feeling like people care.. probably no one is reading this anymore?
update: i intro'd again and one of the regulars i recogonize responded only to say that nest was acting up and wouldn't let people post...

When I lurked I did think they seemed to be open to newbies, but I still never posted b/c so clicky and so much drama and I wasn't really TTGKTFU yet.
Yeah, it's more a TTTC board. It'd be nice if there was just a regular TTC board...or, I'll just stay here for all topics. ; )

Sorry, but that's just not true. There are a lot more TTA'ers and plain ol' TTC'ers over there than there are TTTC'ers. Sarack, as someone pointed out, the nest was acting up today, and the board as a whole was much quieter than usual. That probably had a lot to do with why you had so few people respond to you. Please don't take it personally.
If you'd like to hang out there so that you have people to chat with about TTC and so that you can have your questions answered (or even have people who will understand if you need to chat about TTA), feel free! Jump in with questions, respond to other posts....people will get to know you. (Actually...I bet some Seattle style dirty clickies would go over well on GP.)
Just another thought...you may want to consider putting something in your siggy. We get a lot of people coming and going constantly through GP, and it can be hard for anyone to remember who has or has not posted. If you put something in your siggy.....a pic of something or a ticker or even a quote of some kind...people will be much more likely to remember that you've intro'd yourself. (You've got that gorgeous photo in your avatar, but a lot of us don't really look carefully at the avatars like we do the siggies.)

i kinda got this idea, too, when i was lurking- but i was never a full-time lurker, either.
but i do agree with avila that you need a siggy pic or something. it's like that on most super-active boards. i think we forgive you here because most of us know you IRL

I got this vibe too when lurking, which is why I only lurked. Cliquey, full of drama, and a lot of mean girls who seem to pretend they're supportive.
I didn't bother asking any of my dumb pg-related questions there. Internet people being mean to me makes me cry. :P
