Which vacation would you rather do?
1) Do a bike tour starting in Amsterdam and work your way down through Belgium
2) Go to Switzerland and hike through the Alps and (the towns we'll stop in haven't been decided yet)
3) Go skiing in Chile
This is for our summer vacation. DH and I are big outdoor activities people, so these were the ideas we were tossing around. We'll probably do 7 days.
I swim because I'm too damned sexy for a sport that requires real clothing.

One. But I'm a huge cyclist so any vacation involving bicycles and beer is like a dream come true.
Switzerland would be a close second as the scenery there is spectacular. But I have already done that trip and have some issues with altitude so I would be more relaxed cycling 100 km a day!
Jealous. Those are great options to choose from!

I agree bicycles and beer sound the best, but hiking the Alps is a close second. Good luck deciding. I don't really think you can go wrong with any of these choices. :-)
They are all great options! My choice would be 2, 1, and then 3.
Three sounds great, but I wouldn't want to purposefully visit snow and cold during my summer.
In this order for me:
#1 - I just really want to visit that part of Europe. Also, my parents did a bike tour around Holland when I was a kid, and it looked like fun to me even then.
#2 - Would surely be a lot more exhausting due to altitude and curvy mountain roads (I get car sick easily) but wow it looks beautiful. I'd love to take my camera to that region.
#3 - I just don't have much desire to travel for skiing (since I live in Colorado). But I'm sure it would be a fun trip too.
