Now she's shilling for Olive Garden.

Favorite:
I have Italian family, so I adore Olive Garden?s ability to provide Italian-inspired family meals to curb my craving for Pork Milanese or minestrone soup.

Of course! It's the only place to get real Italian in NYC. Wish me luck!!

Ha! Maybe I'll check her out later today for a laugh. Jason only went to Olive Garden once in his whole life and it was with me when we met some cousins and their horrible children for dinner in Florida. At one point he turned to me and said, 'is this what dying feels like?'
LOL! I will admit to having a deep infatuation with their frozen strawberry bellinis. I couldn't tell you the last time I was in an Olive Garden. I don't even know where one is.

Jason is funny. I, too, have only made one visit to the Garden.
I actually really love the Olive Garden salad. It ends there for me.
But I couldn't tell you the last time I went there. I loved it when I was a little kid, though. It felt very fancy, with the mints at the end of dinner and white tablecloths (which they don't do anymore, right?).

I loathe Olive Garden, except for the salad. I don't understand how people can go there when we live in an area that has tons of really good Italian restaurants, many of which are inexpensive.
My sister-in-law gave us a Carraba's gift card for Christmas -- I've never been but I imagine it to be Olive Garden's fraternal twin.
Yeah, it was awesome. In high school. When I lived in a small town and any chain opening was a HUGE deal. In fact, I think we used to drive 30 minutes to go for all you can eat salad and breadsticks.
There actually is an OG in Manhattan. One of the many lovely chain options in Times Square. Tough decision....Ruby Tuesday? Bubba Gump? Olive Garden? Red Lobster?
Geez, I've turned into such a snob.

Exactly. You can get comparable (or even better) pasta from the divey pizzerias around here for the same price.

I think the food at Carraba's is a LOT better than OG. It may just be that any restaurant with a GF menu gets 100 extra bonus points from me, but it's really good for a chain.
They have this one chicken dish with sundried tomatoes and goat cheese that's really delicious.

That's how I feel about eating at Red Lobster here. I cannot fathom how it stays in business with so many amazing local seafood places.
I wind up at OG from time to time for friend's birthdays. It's not a place I would choose for myself, but I can usually find something to eat. I feel like their tomato based sauces are better than the cream ones. The cream ones taste too greasy.
Every time I drive by an Olive Garden, there are people waiting outside to be seated. I DO NOT GET IT.
On the other hand, I would sell my body for Ruby Tuesdays croutons right now so I don't have room to talk.

Occasionally an OG commercial will make me want to go but I havent't been in ages. But mostly this just reminded me that I never did get to Red Lobster for those damn biscuits.
