Erin, you're slacking ;-)
I only lost 1 pound this past week , I didn't even make it to 30m but myfitnesspal is nice and rounds up. I'm kinda feeling discouraged that I'm not losing like I want to, or hardly at all. I still have 35 lbs to go before May 19th. My mom insists I'm losing inches, but I'm not convinced.
I'm loving my new Fitbit, and it's really encouraging me to move around more. If it's above freezing tomorrow I'll probably take the dog for a walk.
I moved on to week 4 of C25K. I determined that I was pushing myself too hard, and that's why I couldn't do the 3-minute runs. I moved on the next week and still do one 3-minute (the first one) at 6.5 mph, but I have to back it down after that, I can only do 5mph for my 5-minute run.
Re: Weekly Check-In
Sorry I've had a busy day and been unable to get to a computer.
I lost 2 lbs this week. I started the new rules of lifting for women program this week. I really like it so far but it is very difficult. I did 2 weight training days, 1 three mile run and a 5 mile hike this week. I also signed up for a Valentine's day 5k for Feb 12th. My goal time is 37 mins. Slightly over a 12 min mile
Next week I would like to do 3 weight training and 2-3 runs. I'm getting an IUD inserted on Wednesday so that might through my week off depending on how I feel.
I broke through a little mini-milestone today, so that was a great way to start the new week! I am in Week #5 and I am down 15.2 lbs!! I am super pumped!
Since DH and I have our big dinner date on Saturday, I am going to try to do a workout (one of my DVDs) every day to set myself up well. I am going to enjoy the dinner, and probably a glass of wine (or 2!) and not feel guilty about it at all...then, get back at it again on Sunday.
If all goes well, I hope to achieve my weekly 2 lbs loss goal for this week!
I ran almost 20 miles last week, building my base back up to a comfortable 25 before I press on to 30mi/week for most of the rest of the year.
I started doing pace runs for my next half marathon and feel pretty strong doing so. I ran 3mi at GHMP this morning and felt like I could have pushed it out at least another mile.
