What is the best alcoholic beverage you've enjoyed lately? Last drink I had was the champagne on NYE! I don't drink much :(What are you most looking forward to doing in the next 9 months? Just ordered 110 dollars worth of clothes online today, so that's it for big purchases for awhile, lol
What time do you sleep in til on the weekends? Because I work retail, I don't really have standard weekends. I sleep when I can :-P

What is the best alcoholic beverage you've enjoyed lately?
I've been really into old man drinks lately (hubby razzes me for these constantly). I recently had a honey old fashioned at a local restaurant that was A-mazing. It's honey infused rye whiskey poured over muddled cherries & orange & a dash of bitters on the rocks. It's definitely a drink that will knock your socks off, but it's SO stinkin good!
What are you most looking forward to doing in the next 9 months?
Ok, I know that this totally defeats the "non mommy-to-be" nature of this poll, but I'm really looking forward to trying to get pregnant over the summer. I've had the baby itch really bad for the past 5 years & we've both finally agreed that we're in a place where kids are the next step.
I'm also looking forward to a long weekend in Door County over the summer and maybe going to see my best friend in Hawaii for my birthday in April.

Cake in a jar, the kind where the cake is baked & then layered in the jar with the frosting...doesn't that defeat the purpose of the jar? Cake that's baked in a jar & then frosted is cool in my book though.
What is the next big purchase that you have your eye on?
A deck for our backyard is what I should say, since that's our big project for the year. However, I've been eying a LV tote bag that's about $750 even though I'm sure DH would go ballistic if bought another LV bag.
What time do you sleep in til on the weekends?
It depends. For some reason my body is programmed to get 7 hours of sleep on a nightly basis. If I go to sleep at 10, then I wake up at 5...I try to stay up til 11 or midnight on the weekends so that I can feel like I'm sleeping in.

Best alcoholic beverage I've enjoyed lately - blood orange infused sparkling wine. It was like a mimosa but not watered down with orange juice
In the next 9 months I have a lot of things that I'm looking forward to! I will get my Masters degree in May, take a trip to some tropical location in June with friends to celebrate, and then over the summer we're probably moving to VA so that we can be closer to family!
Something trending that I don't get is the "Sh*t _____ people say" youtube videos. I was India when the trend started and I just can't get on board. They're dumb.
The next big purchase that I will make is our hotel/weekend in New Orleans for my b-day (however since it's my b-day I don't think that purchase should count). The other one would be our trip in June
I don't really sleep in on weekends, I just included it because the number one complaint that I hear from my friends that are new moms is that they can't sleep in anymore. I wake up around 5:30-6...

DH LOVES old fashioneds. He always orders them at weddings if there's an open bar. The bartenders are always like "Are you kidding me, kid?" lol

I went to a really cool wedding in the fall that was in an old barn and was very vintage-country and their signature drink was an old fashioned. It was delicious!

Wow! Congrats to your DH for his new job and have fun with the house hunting process! You never know, that house may be there in 6 months, they're not moving super fast (at least down here).
I ordered an Old-Fashioned at a restaurant once & the waiter actually said "Why, is your mom coming?" To which I replied "Why? Do you think she'd want one too?!"
There's something to be said for old man drinks. I like side cars, Tom Collins, gin & tonic and gin martinis. I'm definitely not a beer or fru fru drinks kind of lady.
It's listed as a short sale, and the photos are from when there were still green leaves on the trees. So who knows how that will turn out. I put in a request for a showing a couple days ago, but the agent still hasn't contacted me. I figure we've romanticized this house so much that if we don't go see it (and all it's flaws) while it's available, no other house will ever stand up to our perfect vision of it in our heads.

What is the best alcoholic beverage you've enjoyed lately? Just one? Ha! Um, I had some awesome (cheap) pink champagne on Sunday...other than that, (also cheap) red wine - Black Diamond Cabernet, specifically.

I'm with DorothyinAus, I don't have Pintrest so Pintrest is definitely something I don't get.
What is the next big purchase that you have your eye on? We've been saving up Best Buy gift cards for a wall-mounted flatscreen for our bedroom. And depending on our tax return/H getting a job, I think we might have to take another trip to an all-inclusive in Mexico.
What time do you sleep in til on the weekends? If I'm not working, sometimes 8am or 9am...? I'm not sure how long my body would actually let me sleep; I usually have something to wake up for so I set my alarm. If I just tried sleeping until I wasn't tired anymore I might not wake up until 2013!
