In need of good hair salon (rockland or westchester)

Anyone know of a GREAT hair salon in Rockland or Westchester? I need to find some place good... Not thrilled with my current place

Re: In need of good hair salon (rockland or westchester)

  • I moved to Rockland 4 years ago and just finally found my salon a few months ago!  It's in Nyack.  D Anthony's.  I had the best experience ever getting my hair done here.  And Derek the owner is wonderful.  Definitely worth the extra $5 for him to take care of you!

  • I am dying to know the same thing! Bc I'm tired of driving to new Rochelle from rockland for a haircut and all the places I've tried were lackluster.

  • I have long hair and go to Ashley at Peppe Ramon in New City.  My girlfriend goes to Stephanie there.  I know nothing about what makes a good style, but my friend is fashionable so I trust that I'm not walking around like a fool (although it's been a year since my last haircut, so perhaps I am).

  • Eclipse in Tarrytown is fantastic.  I had my wedding hair done there and used them for years but, they are definitely on the high end since it's an Aveda concept salon.
