Food Q for Superbowl
I'm planning to get two large loaves of french bread to make subs for the Superbowl on Sunday. I figured I would put ham on one side and turkey on the other and top both sides with provolone, lettuce, and tomato. Would you set out mustard, vinaigrette, mayo, pickles, etc. separetely or would you just put it all on the subs and then slice it up?
I know some people are picky so I figured I'd just leave it all separate but it wouldn't be quite as easy to grab it and go if people have to assemble some things on top.

I would put liquid condiments on the side (mayo, mustard, oil and vinegar, etc), but put the pickles on the sub. To me, they are like tomatoes and onions. If someone doesn't like them, they'll take them off.
For fun, put the mayo and mustard in big margarita glasses or some other fun presentation.
On the side it is
Katie - I thought about putting pickles and perhaps onions on top since they're not wet like you said. Good thought!
Personally- I despise pickles. I think their juice contaminated everything it touches and I have not eaten bread in the past from sandwiches because the pickle juice has soaked into it. Just sayin
