I am so screwed - carseat mishap.

I gave Travis his new Mickey sippy cup of milk in the car.  He fell asleep and the cup fell over.  I didn't see it.  So, he was covered in milk as was the carseat and my seat.  I can't take the carseat out b/c I can't get it back in tight enough myself.  When he naps I am going to go out and febreeze the crap out of it.  Somehow I still think its going to smell.  Wish I would have noticed it.

  • I'm pretty sure I've taken the cover off without taking the carseat out...is he rear facing?  The back is all exposed if he is, which is all I need to get his cover off his carseat

  • ACK! That is the worst! Someone spilled milk in my car in like October. At Christmas, it was AWFUL. My mother-in-law told me to put a bowl of fresh coffee grounds in the car and they would absorb the smell. Wouldn't you know? She was right!! There is no sour milk smell anymore.

  • No he's front facing.  I will see if I can get it off though.

  • Even if you wash it tonight it shoudl be OK. This summer my son threw up in his car seat at least 2 times per week.  He always threw up his milk.  It happened on the way to work so I couldn't do anything about it until i got home that night.  It always came out in the wash and the car woudln't smell for too long.
