Trainwreck alert

She's been separated less than a year and needs lots and lots of therapy.

And now she's engaged.

http://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/62844739.aspx

ETA: My bad. She's not really engaged. Her BF just bought her a ring- an engagement ring. I mean, a promise ring. Some kind of ring with significance.

I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns

Re: Trainwreck alert

  • I don't know her history, but two things - 1) if he told you and is showing you rings...it's not really a surprise.  and 2) "diamonds are too common" is code for - I didn't want to spend that much.

  • That one's definitely one of the queens of trainwrecks. Isn't she the one who took a picture of her BF's peen to send to her XH? And was all Ha ha ha, it was so funny?
    Oh, FFS.
  • 1.  I love a good trainwreck

    2.  I am bored so thanks

  • I think I went to high school with her.

I really can't even follow her line of thinking. It's almost like totally different people posting week to week. Maybe she has that thing the guy in Memento has?

I don't remember this story, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I think it might have been her, don't really remember.  But, she WAS the one who had to get her arm stitched up 2 weekends ago after cutting herself... It's ok though, I think she's getting a tattoo to cover it up so she won't cut again.

Yes, same poster.  Also, she cuts herself.  Also, she smokes pot and does other drugs or else she can't sleep or function.  Aaaaand...her boyfriend/future husband (?) can't hold a job because he's on disability (I don't know the story behind that part of it).  She's completely insane and every single post brings the cray cray.  I cannot believe she's "engaged."  JFC.

  • I just love how he took her old e-ring so he knew her size to buy her a new e-ring. There's something ironic in all of that.. or maybe it's just sad.
  • I need to start keeping a spreadsheet to keep all these stories straight.

I'm starting to wonder if he's also mentally ill and they're just feeding into each other's issues.

    This is my siggy.
  • There's clearly something wrong with him. What mentally healthy person willfully gets involved in something like this? I'd run as soon as I knew she was, what, 3 months separated.

Like attracts like so if someone's crazy and hasn't really dealt with their issues, I assume they'd attract the same type of personality.

Yes and Yes. No matter how much advice we give her, she will not listen.

If I ever thought my mood swings were bad, hers make my head spin. Honestly, she sounds like rapid cycle bipolar. I don't even reply to her posts anymore because they get disregarded so easily. Im not sure why she posts becaue she does not take the advice at all.

  • She GBCNed.  She feels sorry for our non-existant husbands.

I think my favorite part of that was:

"You people should take a glance outside of your sheltered lives and try to really live like a normal person. Not with mommy and daddy by your side helping you out financially, or watching your kids so you can go out and get a piece."

    Um, yeah... SHE'S normal...???

ITA that she has major problems, either bipolar or Borderline Personality Disorder (she actually sounds more like a borderline to me, which is unfortunately even harder to manage).

  • I find it interesting that she's mad at people for "talking behind her back", yet she decided not to come here and confront us (me, really) directly.

She loves him, so this is clearly a good decision for her. Just like the decision to marry the guy she's divorcing after knowing him for 4 months. I'm sure she loved him too.
