Can we talk about dreams?
Do you remember yours?
Do you think they mean anything other than that topic (or whatever) has been on your mind lately?
I
don't generally remember mine, but I woke up in the middle of one this
morning and I have a new theory. The reason why I can't remember any of
my dreams is that they just don't make sense. They are not logical and
it is therefore just too conplicated to remember them.
Except that I generally don't ever remember having had any dreams at all.
And, DH is no longer allowed to watch Lord of the Rings right before bed.
I agree with everything that muddled said. You should listen to her. -ESDReturns
Re: Can we talk about dreams?
Crap. You beat me to my clever edit.
What did H do that you wanted to murder him
H had a dream last night that I actually did murder him. Over a key.
In my dream...
I was looking through pictures of a recent work trip H took. The pictures were for some reason huge squares, like 10" x 10". It started off as a company work dinner, blah blah, then I noticed this same girl in a lot of the pictures, and that the pictures were of her at the party, not just that she was in them. Then there were more pictures that got weird and inappropriate so I flipped out on H. He kept denying there was anything wrong them, etc, which made me more mad.
Then I woke up. It's so crazy how the rage and sadness can carry over when you first wake up.
I've had some great ones lately - - - read sarcastically.
Last week alone - DH got me pregnant and then ran out on me because he didn't want a kid. I moved closer to his parents so they could be with their grandchild and the stupid b!tch of a SIL's husband (whom I really love) decided to help me take care of the child - which oddly enough he was no longer married to her anyway - it was REALLY WEIRD...and just....AWFUL.
Then, a couple nights later I dreamt that I was walking down the aisle, and I watched my soon to be husband bolt out the door and run away. (Issues with him leaving ? I think so...)
Also, very recently, I hired someone to kill someone else (that actually is in a book I'm reading so I'm not surprised). But the worst one yet is of a hiking trip we were taking up a mountain (read large sand dune) and we were told to run for our lives because a kid was murdering people. So we "run" and make it to the street where we are going to run down the street to get help when all of a sudden this black and white bus (read black and white as in a black and white movie not the paint colors) appears with a dead girl on it looking at me for help. I turn around and the boy killing people is also black and white drenched from head to toe coming after my family and I to put us on the bus. The weirdest part is that we were in a colored world and the bus and the kid were black and white movie style. ..... no more oreos before bed.
I have really weird dreams too - some I remember snippets of, others are lost to the unconscious brain.
Last night I dreamt I went to the hair salon (it was an old-timey one, like something you'd see in the 1960s) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Seth Rogen showed up. Apparently we were all friends.
What really skeeves me out about my dreams is that these "made-up" places actually exist. I'll travel somewhere and experience some serious deja-vu, like I've been there before. Not anything big like a museum that I might have seen on TV. It's usually some random shop or school or hallway.
